Cameron Diaz films in NASA!  December 20, 2007

Yes, NASA as in National Aeronautics and Space Administration! Even celebrities have limited access to this venerated institution, and Cameron Diaz is just so lucky to be able to film inside the NASA Langley Research Center for her upcoming movie "The Box" which is based on a short story by sci-fi writer Richard Matheson. Richard Kelly will direct the leggy Cameron Diaz. He also wrote the screenplay which is set in the 1970s. Says Director Kelly, "I don't want to spoil too much. But I can tell you that NASA is heavily involved in the film and has given us unprecedented access to research materials and authentic props." WOW! I'm sure Cameron Diaz and James Marsden, her co-star, is excited about that! The two are a couple thrust into a moral dilemma. A stranger, played by Frank Langella, visits them and gives them a box. A push of the box's button, he says, will magically deliver $1 million. But it will also take the life of someone they don't know, somewhere in the world. The stranger gives the couple 24 hours to push the button, or not. Sounds cool huh??

Last week, The Hollywood Reporter released their annual list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood which was topped by (surprise!) Reese Witherspoon and closely followed by the beautiful Angelina Jolie. And on the third spot is the leggy, quirky and funny actress Cameron Diaz! The Hollywood Reported says, "Cameron Diaz might have cashed in on her biggest payday to date this year courtesy of franchise cash cow "Shrek the Third", which brought her more than $30 million. And while a paycheck like that could weigh down any girl's handbag, it probably didn't break the bank for the studio, which has taken in almost $800 million in worldwide box office grosses from the third Shrek installment." WOW! $30 million?? And that's just to voice Princess Fiona! A-list Hollywood stars really have the easiest jobs in the world! You can't earn $30 million in a month or even a year being a voice talent you know. Anyway, here's the annual top 10 list of highest-paid Hollywood actresses:

The new love of Cameron Diaz  November 24, 2007

Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz's ex, has Jessica Biel for quite awhile now. The leggy actress, meanwhile, led a single life - partying here and there with no intimate dates. But, a couple of weeks ago, the "In Her Shoes" actress was spotted (and photographed by paparazzi, of course) getting intimate with a mystery man at the Jet nightclub in the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. And now, the mystery man is revealed! The new guy in the life of Cameron Diaz is the wealthy Israeli hotelier Liran Peterzil. A source tells Britain's Now magazine, "They barely left each other's side all night. He had his arm around her. Cameron was having a great time. She seemed to be only drinking water, but she was really enjoying herself. She was laughing and joking with him all night." Water?? Come on! We all know that Cameron Diaz is a better date (and party person) than that, lol! Anyway, hope the two will hit it off! Cam sure needs another man in her life right now.

Cameron Diaz films in Huntington!  November 11, 2007

After filming in Vegas with Ashton Kutcher for their new movie, Cameron Diaz and all the movie's crew moved to Huntington in Long Island for more filming. According to reports, the leggy actress of the upcoming film "What Happens in Vegas..." stayed for a week at Oheka Castle in Huntington, a newly restored Gold Coast estate of financier Otto Hermann Kahn turned catering and events hall. Ashton and his wife Demi Moore also stayed for a week. Cameron Diaz's new movie is a comedy to be released in 2008. According to IMDB, it is all about two people "who discover they've gotten married following a night of debauchery, with one of them winning a huge jackpot after playing the other's quarter. The unhappy pair tries to undermine each other and get their hands on the money -- falling in love along the way." Sounds real fun! If other comedy films of Cameron Diaz are any indication of how good she is in comedy, then this one would sure be another popular hit! And with Ashton too, w00t!

Cameron Diaz sneaking out in NYC  October 17, 2007

The leggy 35-year old actress is busy filming “What Happens In Vegas” in New York City but she still had time to party! Guess that’s what Cameron Diaz does best – sneak out of filming and go partying, lol! According to reports, between filming sessions yesterday afternoon, the ex-girlfriend of Justin Timberlake was spotted having a time out with costar Lake Bell. The pair went to “a Godiva liquor bash thrown in honor of Bell’s interior decorator mother, Robin Bell, at STK, a downtown New York restaurant.” The bash was all about Robin’s mom who designed a house that got featured in a magazine. Says Cameron Diaz, “The house her mother Robin (designed) in (House Beautiful) magazine is beautiful.” However, the two actresses did not stay long at the party. They immediately head back to work for more filming. “We have to go right now. It’s so tricky (to get away), but it was worth it,” says the fun-loving Cameron Diaz.

After her breakup with Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz had a hard time finding back her dating groove. She had a brief dalliance with indiscreet illusionist Criss Angel, and had a PDA-laden hookup with John Mayer that was the stuff of tabloids. Whatever went wrong with the Charlie’s Angels star? Whatever it is, Cameron Diaz seemed to shake it off already for she was spotted having a romantic weekend in New York with a seemingly “good” guy. According to the New York Post, the leggy actress was seen with Bradley Cooper (Wedding Crashers) having dinner Saturday night, followed by the "SNL" season premiere afterparty at Primehouse, where they mingled with the likes of host LeBron James, John Krasinski, Chris Rock and Ashton Kutcher. Witnesses say Cameron Diaz and Bradley Cooper “were very close and lovey. Something is definitely going on, and it's clear they are more than just friends.” The next day, the lovebirds spent more quality time strolling through Central Park. Later that day, Cam and Brad watched a New York Giants game with Ashton and Demi. Wow, they certainly had a very full weekend! Stay tuned!

No, I’m not talking about a new film role for Cameron Diaz. The long-legged actress is really going to be a magazine editor in real life – on National Geographic no less! According to reports, Cameron will be the guest editor of National Geographic Kids’ first “Green Issue” in the United States. The There’s Something About Mary star is a known environment campaigner, and is pictured alongside a polar bear on the front cover of the said magazine’s October 2007 issue. As an editor, Cameron Diaz will give green tips to her young readers. In one write-up, she wrote, "I wash the plastic wrap after I use it, but I also do things like put a plate over the bowl instead of plastic wrap. I just figure out how to do things differently so it's better for the environment." Hmm, good idea! I think I can put this into practice. Thanks Cameron! =)
